Sleeping till noon? No more.

Today is the 7th of January, which means that school has started again after nearly three weeks of Christmas holidays! Goodbye celebrations, late night movies and long carefree walks in the snow. Hello books, trains (which get me to my university every day) and dark circles under my eyes.

This Christmas break has been the best holiday of my life. Why? Well the first reason is definitely the fact, that my holidays in December never lasted this long before, since I am Slovenian and we only stay at home from December 24th till January 1st. The second and final reason is that I have finally learned just how important family actually is. Being surrounded by our loved ones - that is what no money or riches can replace. Seeing everyone sitting around the table together, merrily discussing about all kinds of things made me very happy and I have not felt so warm in a long time. 

I hope everyone has had a pleasant holiday and is ready to step into the last month of this semester with great enthusiasm!
